Terms and Conditions of Services

1. Once the candidate/company has registered and paid for a British Woodworking Federation e-learning course it is non-transferable to any other individual and non-refundable and valid for 12 months only. This includes multiple credit purchases.
2. If a candidate fails the end of course assessment, they will need to pay and resit the module.
3. If a candidate does not complete the e-learning course and assessment with the 12-month timescale, they will need to reregister and pay again for access to any e-learning courses.
4. Third party organisations are not permitted to register candidates on behalf of a client. Any registration fees paid by a third party organisation will not be refunded.
5. The British Woodworking Federation retain the right to then remove the login of the company or individual.

 

Replacement Certificates

6. Replacement certificates are a chargeable service and will only be issued following confirmation of entitlement through our database and receipt of cleared funds for payment in full.
7. The British Woodworking Federation will not replace or change the information held on the certificate at time of original issue, except where this is incorrect or there is an error.
8. The British Woodworking Federation reserves the right to refuse a request for a replacement certificate and will not be held responsible for issuing a replacement certificate to an unauthorised person
9. Payments received for replacement certificates are non refundable.
10. Certificates form part of an individual’s person data and are covered by the provisions of the GDPR Data Protection Act 2018. Under the terms of this Act, it is an offence to provide or obtain the personal data of another individual without their knowledge and express consent. Both the British Woodworking Federation and the applicant are required to observe the terms of this Act.

Payment Policy

1. Shopify/Stripe is a web based payment facility. At the time of payment you will be transferred to the secure site. The British Woodworking Federation will be informed electronically by SagePay whether your payment has been accepted or declined. The British Woodworking Federation has no control or influence over the payment facility.
2. The British Woodworking Federation does not see, store or hold any credit/debit card details of its customers.
3. The British Woodworking Federation does not at any time have access to or store any individual’s bank or payment card details
